In the morning match, Fort Charlotte Strikers made 86-4 off their 10 overs, then restricted Botanical Gardens Rangers to 62-4 off 10 overs to win by 24 runs. Salt Pond Breakers gained an 11-run victory over Grenadines Divers yesterday afternoon. The scores: Salt Pond Breakers 67-4 off 10 overs, Grenadines Divers 58-8 off 10 overs. NBC SVG Dream 11 VPL 3 will be played from 15 th to 30 th May at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex. Once again, six Franchises will contest the Tournament. SCGCA recognizes Lewis, Daize and Shallow SCGCA recognizes Lewis, Daize and Shallow By: I.B.A Allen• The SVG Cricket Association Inc. (SVGCA), in keeping with a tradition, recently bestowed honours on three persons. This exercise took place as part of the Association’s 2020 Awards Dinner Ceremony, held on Thursday 17th December, at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex. The honorees were Dr. Linton Lewis, Rudy Daize and Dr. Kishore Shallow. Dr. Lewis, who is now a practicing attorney at law, was a former national and regional opening batsman of no mean class, and his record speaks to a successful career at both levels.  When in 1991 Dr. Lewis called it a day from active participation in the sport at the regional level, he had amassed 1238 runs with two centuries and five fifties, from 32 matches. He was recognized and honoured for his outstanding performances and service to cricket in the region and to the state.
