(Courtesy of NCCA) MANILA - Cinema Rehiyon, among the Philippines' most-awaited events for regional cinema, will run its 14th iteration from Feb. 25 to March 31 this year in Davao City, and nationwide through online video-on-demand platforms. Cinema Rehiyon is the flagship project of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) - National Committee on Cinema. It coincides with NCCA's National Arts Month celebration which happens annually in February. "The National Arts Month is an essential platform to cultivate appreciation for the arts and bring out a deep sense of respect for our cultures and traditions," NCCA chairman Arsenio "Nick" Lizaso said in a recent press conference.
