Volunteer fire departments from the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore hosted a boot drive Saturday afternoon to raise money for the family of fallen Buffalo firefighter Jason Arno.

At its Feb. 21 Village Board meeting, the Village of Kenmore signed an agreement with Trautman Associates to renovate and expand the police department headquarters located at 2395 Elmwood Ave. Trautman Associates is an architectural and engineering firm that services businesses and organizations throughout Western New York. The Kenmore Police Department was built in 1951
