Airtel said that industry verticals like healthcare, automobile and manufacturing are pushing the telecom operator to quickly enable 5G services for certain use cases in the country.
“There are some emerging segments, which are actually pushing us also as an operator and asking if we can offer 5G.there s a need now. Now the operators have to work with the ecosystem and try to build the ecosystem because it s not just connectivity devices. There s a lot of other pieces,” said Sundi Raman, senior Vice President & Head of Product at Airtel Business.
