Union Minister Subhash Sarkar on Monday said the allegedly derogatory statements made about 'Ramcharitmanas' by a Bihar minister last week was due to "vote bank and appeasement politics" to garner the support of minorities.
“We cannot let any seat go waste. We should encourage students to come to our institutions,” he said while addressing the inaugural session of NSIL-2023 where VCs and directors from different institutions were present.
He was addressing the participants at a one-day workshop on IDP for Higher Education Institutions organised at Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission in Bhopal on Thursday.
