Tougher lockdown flagged as cases refuse to drop
Ms Berejiklian has refused to rule out making Greater Sydney s COVID-19 lockdown even tougher, as she forecast even worse coronavirus numbers tomorrow. I am assuming because we had, in the last 24 hours, at least 29 of those 97 cases were infectious in the community, the numbers tomorrow will be greater than what we saw today, she said. We have never ever been afraid of taking the difficult decisions to make our community safe. It will be based on the health advice.
However, Ms Berejiklian expressed doubt about the necessity of requiring masks outdoors.
