Well, hey erin, yeah we were live earlier right by the accident on the southbound lanes of 28 right on the overpass of 66, but then police came up to us, knocked on our window and told us we had to get out of there because they were going to try to land a chopper on the southbound lanes of route 28 to respond to this crash. Earlier we were reporting that there were no serious injuries in this crash. However, its unclear now exactly whats going on and if this chop chopper is respondingo possible injuries that they found later on after doing some investigating and clearing out of this crash but its a doozie. Right now northbound lanes of route 28 are moving. However, the southbound side, the far right two lanes are currently still blocked with Emergency Response vehicles. Aid workers and syrian volunteers have begun to evacuate dozens of critically ill patients from a rebel held suburb near damascus. Last week, International Aid agencies made an appeal to president assad to allow the evacuation of seven children with cancer. The first of the patients were taken out of Eastern Ghouta overnight by the red cross and the syrian arab red crescent. More patients should be evacuated in the coming days as part of a deal between the government and rebels. But hundreds more are in need of treatment.
