Malden Police arrest Everett man in fatal December shooting

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Chief of Police Kevin Molis have confirmed that Sifeddine Rogadi, 20, of Everett, was arrested Jan. 12 on charges of murder, armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery by discharge of a firearm, possession of a large capacity firearm, and possession of ammunition in connection with the fatal shooting of Jaden Brito-White, 18, of Malden, that occurred on Dec. 29, 2020.
He was expected to arraigned in Malden District Court.
On Dec. 29, at approximately 7:03 p.m., Malden Police responded to a report of a shooting that had occurred on Bowdoin Street. Upon arrival, officers located Brito-White suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Ava Callender Concepcion appointed to Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, filling public safety seat

Concepcion, of Dorchester, was appointed by the office of Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey.
Most recently, Concepcion served as the director of governmental affairs and external partnerships for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, where she advised on legislation and policy, Healey’s office said in a statement.
“Ava brings a strong background in public safety and experience working with a range of stakeholders including law enforcement, advocacy organizations, and constituents on important policy matters,”
Healey said. “As a lifelong resident of Boston, Ava has dedicated her career to social justice and her perspective will be extremely valuable to the Commission in promoting safety, equity, and opportunity.”
