Up to 260kmph: When supercars hit Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, GP style, ET Auto

Delhi Mumbai Expressway: Supercars in Gurgaon-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway are regularly exceeding the speed limit of 120kmph, with some cars reaching speeds of up to 260kmph. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has installed Vehicle Speed Detection System (VSDS) and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras to monitor the situation. In the past 20 days, VSDS recorded around 6,000 vehicles exceeding the speed limit in Gurgaon, with around 100 being high-end cars. NHAI is in talks with the Haryana Police to integrate VSDS with the traffic police s system.
