Morrisons at Blackhorse Street A THUG who threw slates a store staff who were trying to stop him shoplifting has been jailed for five months. Scott Chamberlain, stole four face creams from the Morrisons store on Blackhorse Street, Bolton on January 12 this year and assaulted two members of staff. Wigan magistrates told him: “Taken as a whole, this was an appalling display of violent and dishonest behaviour. “You caused injury to at least one person by throwing slate at members of staff when they were trying to stop you. “These were sustained and repeated assaults with the use of a weapon.”
