India equity benchmarks opened at record levels on Monday following positive action in global peers.At the opening, Senex and Nifty hit new all-time highs of 75,679 and 23,043 respectively.At 10.20 a.m., Sensex was up 60 points or 0.08 per .
The key index closed at a record 22,967.65, up 369.85 points or 1.64%, after hitting a peak of 22,993.60 during trade. The BSE Sensex rose 1,196.98 points, or 1.61%, to end at 75,418.04.
