LIVE Gujarat Election Result 2022: With the early trends in all 182 seats of Gujarat Assembly coming in, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was seen inching towards an all-time high record of 149 seats.
Bhupendra Patel an MLA from Ghatlodia seat, retained the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency represented by Union minister Amit Shah, the results showed. The seat was previously held by former chief minister Anandiben Patel who is now Uttar Pradesh Governor.
According to the results declared by the Election Commission, the BJP won 156 seats, while the Congress party finished second, winning 17 seats. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that made its debut with a high-decibel campaign won 5 seats
