jose, this is all going to fall on some familiar grooves of debate between the global north and the global south, because what we re seeing here many britain today, britain is the rotating president of the g-7, that group of the wealthiest democracies in the world. britain has called on g-7 nations come together and try to come up with some sort of global approach. but this is, of course, going to be led by the world s wealthiest nations. the ones that have the most vaccine penetration in their populations. and it s not going to be led by countries like south africa, where the omnicron variant was first discovered last week. and a lot of these countries, a lot of the poorer parts of the world, are looking toward the developed countries and looking at confabs like the g-7 and saying, this is what happens when you get such vaccine inequality on a global level. you start to see variants popping up in countries like in africa, where only about 7% of the population is double vaccinated, com
