The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources wants to remind people not to take desert tortoises from the wild. The DWR said, so far, there have been nine tortoise-related cases in Utah. Most of the incidents happened in Washington County during the summer months, with two of the cases taking place in the central part of the state.
