The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has banned farming activities on fringes of the popular Umar Musa Yar’Adua Expressway, leading to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Bello, issued the order yesterday when he led the top management team of the administration, political leaders and some traditional rulers to inspect various developments on that road axis.
The order also outlawed street trading and illegal motor parks along the airport way. He frowned at bizarre conducts of residents constituting nuisance to the public.
Bello said that no resident or organisation would be allowed to carry out any illegal activity on a major gateway leading into the nation’s capital city.
