iran nuclear deal. you look and see what iran was dealing with them. they are used to hardship, high inflation rates. they re used to having a military that in essence uses subterfuge to fill the weapons they need. they have ways to cope with this stuff. i don t see this as a policy that will work either in the short term or the long term unless there is some other mechanism the united states is going to use to get the iranians to the table. what they really need is for iranians to save face and come to the table that allows them to do that. oddly, it suits the hard-liners narrative in iran. it fits this sense of victimization. the u.s. against us, us against the world, et cetera. i wonder if i m sent into iran and i look at a u.s. election and negotiate a deal with the previous administration, loan up by this administration, looking out a year-and-a-half and say, why do i want to make a deal
with people who are of ill repute, to say the very least. anyone in new york knows this. anyone who can read has seen the documentation. i don t know if chickens are coming home to roost because when he s the least. when he is at his rally, he has established that the media is a liar. that mueller is out to get him. he has created this scenario where truth isn t truth. and doing it since the campaign. it is up to him and 33% supporters, sort of us against the world. so while everything has changed, nothing has changed. you and people like you have been trying to get their party back. come on, guys, putting on statements how this doesn t implicate him in the russian investigation isn t the relevant part of this right now. your president is lying.
or this politics, president trump wins. and people who are angry are glad that he s carrying a torch for them. but are the policies t to in place only going to burn them more? yes, they are. polly, this is right down the middle, this is the sweet spot for trump and his base voters. it s us against the world. donald trump is a guy who s going to fix it. the problem is, facts matter. the economic argument also becomes verycky because this is high-risk/high-reward politics. inflation, as we see the price of goods go up. softening of job growth. when nafta came in, congress and the president had to ensure there was transition assistance for those who lost their jobs. we will see a short-term spike in infl the pain comes upfront. the benefits takes decades to see. we re just now seeing it. we ve had collapses in the past
