one issue that came upç was on we talked about yesterday on this very program, which is trade. that s an issue where both sides think they can work together. as we predicted yesterday morning, the u.s. trade representative talked about getting a fire lit under the colombia and panama free trade agreements as well as getting south korean language. they talked generally about cutting spending but they did not get into specifics. as somebody in the media, it s interesting. i find what everybody wants was this hands across the aisle, common ground, when they say it, people react, like, no, that can t be. the very thing we want, we know is right, i don t know if it s because we only can live as a polarized nation, when we get what we want we react strangely. i think there are genuine philosophical differences. everybody agrees, yes, spending
