Arachchi the former Director General of Central Environmental Authority (CEA)
has joined the board of Directors of H2O1.
Muthukuda Arachchi is a highly experienced senior scientist
counting over 30 years of experience in the industry. In addition to serving as
the Director General of the CEA, he has also served as the Head of the
Environmental Pollution Control (EPC) unit as Deputy Director General for over
14 years. He started his career with the National Water Supply and Drainage

Colombo: Sri Lankan authorities have said that the highly transmissible Delta variant of COVID-19 has been detected for the first time in the community.
Chandima Jeewandara of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura here said the strain was detected in samples collected from an area in the Colombo central suburb of Dematagoda.
