According to the Michigan Nurses Association, nearly 3,000 U of M nurses and allies rallied at Fuller Park in Ann Arbor and then to the university’s hospital to bring attention to their fight.
The Michigan Nurses Association (MNA) is doing everything in its power to keep nurses on the job following the expiration of their contract on June 30, including promoting Democratic Party politicians and the idea that the university regents will side with nurses’ demands for better staffing ratios and cost-of-living hikes.
