Did you know your donya . I knew my legs gave out. I did not necessarily instantly feel i was hit, i felt like something hit me but not taking a bullet. When my legs went out and i was down in the gravel and field at second base, i started crawling away, i heard coming from the third basin, i never saw the shooter but i knew that with the gunfire was coming from, so i started crawling away and after about 20 feet i seen pictures of a blood trail about 20 feet long, my arms gave out. I cannot crawl away anymore and at that point i started to pray. I prayed for some pretty heavy things. And he deliver. How long were you out there . It seemed like an hour but it was only a few minutes. I look to the police report, the whole thing mightve taken place in 15 or 20 minute. From when he started shooting until when the shooter was taken out. Ryan good morning to our panel, i am pleased to welcome the chief of Capitol Police, the house sergeant at arms and the architect of the capitol. Thank you for being with us today. None of us will ever forget the events of january 6. The capital was attacked by violent insurrection. Lives were lost in the days and weeks following 140 Police Officers were assaulted, 1. 5 million worth of damage was done to the capital and a Lasting Impact of that day continue to be felt across the capital complex and our community. How we remember and respond will determine how we collectively learn from the trials and mistakes of that day. As we move forward we do not want to fall into the trap of preparing to fight the last war. Rather, we must thoughtfully plan to ensure that the next one never happens. Ignoring the mistakes of the past, refusing to eat learn and grow from them refusing to learn and grow from them will only leave the capital ca
