We are so excited to be here. For those of you who dont know, the United States Historical Society is a chartered, Nonprofit Organization dedicated to sharing stories of the capital and those who work there in a manner that inspires, informed patriotism. The day, as we celebrate three significant events, all related, the 200th anniversary of Ulysses S Grants birth, the 100th anniversary of this grant memorial, and the dedication of the incredible restoration of this monument that was finished in 2020. We have a distinguished group of speakers. Senator roy blunt, our hero, who i am going to introduce first.
