Union Station Homeless Services announced on Wednesday, Nov. 8, its debut float in the Rose Parade. Titled "Bee the Solution," the float will feature musical bees, among other features, with a goal of inspiring the awareness that collective power can bring an end to homelessness.
Scores of events aimed at helping struggling members of the community took place in the days before Thanksgiving, with many more were planned on the holiday.
