In an interview at the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), MMDA Chair Romando Artes said the suspension of the number coding on Tuesday would allow the public to travel earlier and avoid heavy traffic, especially on Thursday and Friday-both regular holidays. "We are suspending the number coding scheme on Tuesday and Wednesday to provide the public unhampered mobility by allowing them to use their vehicles going to the provinces," Artes said.
