Humanitarian organisations are co ordinating a delivery of about 200 tonnes of food and medical supplies, which will go via a Maritime Corridor with israels agreement. So overnight last night, we know a us Military Helicopter did travel under the cover of darkness to portauprince, haiti and evacuated. We dont know how many, but us diplomats were told only us diplomats were evacuated from from the embassy because the ongoing civil unrest in haiti, Gang Violence that is essentially brought that country to a standstill, has made it too dangerous to have the embassy fully staffed.
