Spheric Bio, a Cambridge company developing a 3D heart implant to help prevent strokes, was awarded $50,000 for winning the M2D2 Challenge, a partnership between UMass Chan Medical School and UMass Lowell.
“I didn’t know it was going to be as big as it was, but I did have a general sense of what my mission would be,” Henry Thomas III said of his long run with the Urban League of Springfield. “I made the most out of everything that was on the table.”
