Evans is entering his eighth year at the school where he became the First African American coach in the history of the school and the 3rd in the history of the district.
To commemorate this special event, the community hosted a group of STEM students, teachers and the Flour Bluff ISD superintendent at the Whitecap Preserve construction site.
