Roadracing World Magazine | Motorcycle Riding, Racing & Tech News © 2021, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. From a press release issued By Yamaha Racing: Gagne Storms to Victory for Road America Sweep      Fresh N’ Lean Attack Performance Yamaha Racing’s Jake Gagne continues to dominate, breaking another track record en route to victory in today’s MotoAmerica Superbike Race 2 at Road America. Teammate Josh Herrin overcame adversity to score his second top-five finish this weekend in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Once again, Gagne grabbed the holeshot from pole position, but this time around, the competition was hot on his heels and made the pass in Turn 5. The 28-year-old quickly reclaimed the lead and then upped the ante by breaking Cameron Beaubier’s track record in a Superbike race, an impressive 2:10.998. From there, Gagne put in some consistently fast times to win his fifth consecutive race by a 6.7-second margin, expanding his lead in the championship to 18 points

Harley-Davidson Throws Another Rider in King of the Baggers as It Chases Indian

As usual, we’ll only be seeing Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles chasing the win, as no other bikes have been enlisted yet, but the show should be spectacular.

Epic Indian vs Harley-Davidson Bagger Track Battle Ends Exactly Like Last Year

Epic Indian vs Harley-Davidson Bagger Track Battle Ends Exactly Like Last Year 3 May 2021, 9:27 UTC · by It’s been an exciting weekend for motorcycle enthusiasts as the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta hosted a number of MotoAmerica events. For us, by far the most spectacular was the first race of what is now the King of the Baggers series. 8 photos Born last year as a single run at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, King of the Baggers morphed for 2021 into a small series of three races, and attracted significantly more involvement from both Indian and Harley-Davidson. The former went on the starting grid with no fewer than three factory-backed teams, while the latter enlisted its own factory team and backed four other Harley-Davidson riders.
