Illinois State Police master sergeant Amber Dunn has been selected to be a "Guardian of the Flame" and carry the Flame of Hope on the final leg of the "Law Enforcement Torch Run", to the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin. Amber is a Galesburg resident and works in Troop 2 of the ISP, based out of East Moline. She was chosen as the lone law enforcement officer selected to represent the State of Illinois and one of only 100 officers internationally.
