Collision triggered by driver asleep at the wheel
December 20, 2020TWIN MOUNTAIN Last Tuesday in Twin Mountain, emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a car vs tractor trailer. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
At around 1:30 p.m., the Carroll Police Department responded to Route 3 South, near Black Bear Road.
Carroll Police Chief Tadd Bailey said, Upon arriving on scene, it was found that an automobile had collided with a tractor trailer. Due to the location of both the vehicles, the roadway being covered in vehicle debris, and the driver being trapped in the automobile Route 3 was closed.
