In 1994 we elected a class of republicans who just did not give a whit about their election. They came to balance the budget. It was remarkable. And then after 10 long years in 1997, i was one of the chief architects of allen saying that federal budget. First time we have done it since man walked on the moon. We have not done it since. We paid down the largest amount of the publicly held debt in modern history, and the economy was doing great. Some of you might remember i was a giants Television Star on fox news. How do i feel what . Reporter do you see the Carter Center in the future . Well, i think it will be equal to what it has been in the past. It has been expanding every year, as far as the number of people we treat for terrible diseases and things of that kind. I understand this coming year, well treat 71 Million People on earth for diseases so that they wont have the afflictions they have had throughout their lifetimes. And so we have added that we we are finished a hundred troubled elections to bring democracy and freedom to people, so yeah, we still try to bring peace. We concentrate on peace and human rights and democracy of freedom and alleviation of suffering. Youre right, the weather thankfully has cleared out nicely. Few showers last evening, but thats basically done at this point. You look at storm scan, not much to see. Now you see few speckles of green that pop up there. Dont worry about that, i dont expect any wet weather here today. Primarily going to see few additional clouds overhead. The good thing about today is that the worse of the humidity , thank goodness, is starting to go by by the wayside. Granted it is still little on the muggy side walking out the door. Always transition that needs to be made, you cant just snap your fingers and have that really comfortable air in place, right . So, expect with time that the humidity will gradually lower, still, offer to incredibly mild start, low to mid 70s, from the shore on inland, toward philadelphia.
