A tropical wave in the Atlantic has increasing chances to become the season’s next tropical depression or storm this week as it heads toward the Caribbean, according to the National Hurricane Center. In its 8 a.m. tropical outlook, the NHC said the system with showers and thunderstorms was showing more signs of organization currently located several hundred miles southwest of the Cape Verde .
