Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer‘s office blasted a “partisan attack” by conservative media after photos surfaced of an aide vacationing in Florida just days after the governor said she was worried about Michiganders traveling there.

(Photo: LinkedIn) It doesn t take a rocket scientist nor should it take a top aide to Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to realize the potential bad optics as the pandemic rages in the state. Tricia L. Foster, Whitmer s chief operations officer, posted several photos on social media from Siesta Key, south of Tampa, last week, reports Breitbart, which shows screen shots from her social media. The original posts were removed. The photos surface a week after Whitmer publicly expressed concern April 3 about spring break travel, particularly to Florida. The Whitmer camp pointed out that Foster had recoverd from Covid and was fully vaccinated.
