Edward Ellis, III began his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga in 2014. Initially, Mr. Ellis served as a match support specialist, providing ongoing guidance and support to Littles, Parents/Guardians, and Volunteer Bigs on a regular basis. Match support specialists monitor mentoring interactions and offer insights and advice to ensure child safety, facilitate healthy relationship development and promote positive youth outcomes.
In October of 2020, Mr. Ellis was promoted to lead the agency in continued efforts towards DEI progress as the Diversity Partnerships Manager. BBBSGC is committed to being intentionally inclusive in who it serves, who it is, and what it represents to the community at large, said officials. As such, the diversity partnerships manager position was created with a goal of helping to establish and implement the organization�

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – With the 43rd annual Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic less than one month away, race officials with the Crescent City Fitness Foundation announced an unprecedented goal of raising $1 million for local nonprofits at this year’s momentous virtual 10k challenge.
The Crescent City Fitness Foundation also announced the long list of local nonprofits it is supporting and partnering with for this year’s Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic, the Gulf South’s oldest and largest road race. The participating nonprofits are:

Girls on the Run
Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO)
LAWRENCE, Kan. – If you’ve seen cornerback Karon Prunty on the field, some of the first things you may notice about him are his length – standing at 6’1”, 189 lbs. – and his ability to take receivers out of the game. What you may not expect is that Prunty is just a true freshman at KU, yet among the top young cornerbacks in all of college football.
Starting all nine games as a true freshman from Portsmouth, Virginia, Prunty held opponents to just a 38.5% completion percentage against him, which ranks seventh in all of college football, while not allowing a single touchdown all season.

What to know: A 247 Sports composite three-star recruit…Coached by Larry Cornelius…Posted 24 tackles, one forced fumble, one touchdown and one tackle-for-loss in four games as a senior…As a junior, had 468 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns…Totaled 32 tackles and one sack as a sophomore in 2018…As a junior in 2019, notched 54 tackles and three interceptions, while also rushing for 136 yards and four touchdowns on offense.
