Last Sunday, almost 300 cyclists from on and off coast took part in the first-ever Sunshine Coast Slow Food Cycle put on by Transportation Choices Sunshine Coast (TraC).
Modelled on similar rides in Pemberton and Agassiz, the Sunshine Coast Slow Food Cycle is a self-guided ride that invites cyclists to visit more than a dozen different locations, checking out fresh produce at local farms, visiting local cideries and craft brewers, and enjoying live entertainment.
Councillors and staff from the Town of Gibsons, and representatives from SD46 and Vancouver Coastal Health participated in an e-bike tour around Gibsons recently, sponsored by Transportation Choices Sunshine Coast (TraC).
