Within one day after the city declared a State of Emergency over the surge in COVID-19 cases, the Porcupine Health Unit was able to secure additional allocation of vaccines to offer a vaccine blitz in Timmins this long weekend.
These will include two drop-in clinics and a series of other clinics that require scheduled appointments.

The vaccine clinics have been expanded to accommodate individuals who are 12 years of age or older.
