Libraries in East Lothian’s six towns are the only ones scheduled to reopen at this stage. Both Haddington and Musselburgh libraries are gearing up to open for the first time this year and are the first branches in the county to do so. Both open at 10am on Monday and customers will be allowed to enter the buildings on a strict quota system. They will also be asked to follow a one-way route around the library. They will both be open Mondays-Fridays, 10am-1pm and 2-4.30pm. Haddington Library is found within the John Gray Centre. From next Monday (May 10), Prestonpans and Dunbar libraries will re-open with similar arrangements in place. A limited number of people will be allowed in the buildings at any one time and a one-way route will be in place at both venues.
