A stabbing Friday morning in the 5100 block of Boonsboro Road left one woman dead and a man critically wounded in an incident that lead to an officer-involved shooting, according to a Lynchburg Police Department news release.
At the request of Lynchburg Police, the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation s Appomattox Field Office is investigating a non-fatal officer-involved shooting that took place Nov. 10, 2023.
