Hunters killed more Yellowstone wolves that left the park s borders in recent months than any season since the animal was reintroduced to the region in 1995.
Hunters in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming killed 20 wolves after they wandered from Yellowstone National Park. The news comes as Utah hunters found what could be the first wolf discovered in the state in years in Duchesne, although DWR officials say it’s probably a wolf-dog hybrid.
