The car had been making its way southbound on US Highway 287, 10 miles from the Wyoming-Colorado border, when the driver veered off the road, with the vehicle rolling over several times.
A highway crash in Colorado killed three members of the University of Wyoming swim team and injured two others, the school's president said in a statement.
