Deimco Finishing Equipment (Tama, Iowa) has hired Shivtej Utekar and Ryan Hass and announced a 10,800-square-foot expansion to its facility.
“We are excited to welcome Shivtej and Ryan to our team,” says Kirk Shirar, president and co-owner of Deimco. “They will be a great resource for Deimco and our customers.”

Utekar obtained his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Wichita State University in May 2020. During his time at university, Shivtej excelled academically and completed an internship with Speed Automation. As automation engineer, Shivtej will be responsible for the design and implementation of custom controls for Deimco’s system solutions.

Deimco Finishing Equipment recently announced the expansion and hiring of two new employees. Ryan Hass (above) and Shivtej Utekar (below) have joined the Deimco team.
Deimco Finishing Equipment, a designer and builder of custom finishing and material handling systems, announces the hiring of Shivtej Utekar and Ryan Hass. The positions were created to support the continued growth of Deimco Finishing Equipment. MINNEAPOLIS Officials made nearly 50 arrests over a three-day operation in late January in connection to numerous carjackings and robberies in Minneapolis.
According to a joint press release from the Minneapolis Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff s Office, 46 people were arrested, including 69 felony level charges, following a sting operation that began Jan. 26 and went through Jan. 28.
During the operation, which included officers from the MPD, deputies with the Hennepin County Sheriff s Office Violent Offender Task Force and air support from the Minnesota State Patrol, authorities found 15 firearms and 12 stolen vehicles, according to the release.
