policies, et cetera. for the first time a majority of the answers a majority of folks say they don t like his policies. 51%. it s barely a majority, but a majority. and when you combine all the folks that say they like him personally, that s 69%. you know, our democratic pollster like peter harden, likes to compare obama to reagan. he said back in the early 80s you would see the similar splits where reagan s agenda was not popular but reagan personally was. and where you see the disconnect, guys, is on things like, you know, when you say, well, what are the midterm elections going to be like, obama is is not rubbing off on congressional democrats but the good news for obama, congressional democrats and the unpopularity of them is not rubbing off on him personally. so, it s this odd split we re seeing. so obama s hanging in there right now, even as his party is not.
