MoDOT Kansas City will be making pavement improvements along eastbound and westbound U.S. 50 between approximately Todd George Rd. to just north of Bannister/NW Colbern Road until approximately July 2021. This week’s work includes the following closures. All work is weather permitting.
Crews will close the ramp from eastbound U.S. 50 to Chipman Road nightly, beginning on Monday, May 3, through Thursday, May 6, from 8 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Todd George is a manager at Kleckner & Sons in Whitehall. He says the supply coming from China is severely delayed and demand is up, meaning delays can last from weeks to months on all types of appliances. The other day we received freezers which were a big demand, still a very big demand, that we ordered while we were shut down on COVID back in April, George said. They re waiting for parts four weeks, months, three months.
