OHP Identifies Skiatook Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident Near Collinsville The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the man involved in a fatal motorcycle crash on Saturday on State Highway 20 at US-75 near Collinsville. According to OHP, 53-year-old Todd Forbes from Skiatook was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency personnel after a crash involving a Ford Explorer on Saturday around 1:47 p.m. OHP said that the two passengers in the Ford Explorer suffered only minor injuries and both refused medical treatment at the scene. BLM Southeast Oregon Advisory Council to Hold Meetings in January LAKEVIEW, Ore. – The Bureau of Land Management’s Southeast Oregon Resource Advisory Council will meet virtually Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Planned agenda items for the meeting include a review/recommendation regarding proposed actions by Burns, Vale, and Lakeview BLM districts, a presentation on projects related to the Great American Outdoors Act, and an update on the Lakeview Resource Management Plan Amendment. “The RAC provides input on a wide range of BLM activities throughout the State,” Lakeview District Manager Todd Forbes said. “This diverse group of individuals from across Southeast Oregon share different perspectives and help inform our decision making.”

Lakeview Field Office Selling Firewood Permits Lakeview, Ore. – The Bureau of Land Management Lakeview Field Office is issuing firewood permits. Permits will be processed over the phone ONLY from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. BLM firewood permits are no longer sold at the Silver Lake or Paisley Ranger Stations. The information needed to purchase a permit over the phone is: Full name and address, Valid ID (ex: Driver’s license number), Year, make, model, color, and license plate number of the vehicle being used when getting the firewood, and Credit card to process payment over the phone.
