Officials with the Lafayette Police Department are still investigating after a person was hit by a car that fled in the 500 block of the Southwest Evangeline Thruway early Sunday morning.
According to the Duson Police Department, at approximately 8:29 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2023, officers responded to an incident in the area of Toby Mouton Road.
