Register of Deeds John O’Brien wants to alert his constituents about a private company called Title Lock that is advertising a fraud protection service for a monthly fee of $14.99 on WBZ Radio to homeowners.
This time their ads contain an endorsement from Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House. O’Brien reminds citizens of the Southern Essex District that his office offers the same service free of charge. Should something be recorded on their property, and they’ve signed up for the Property Fraud Watch program, they will receive an email notification the same day.
