Who will perform at the 2021 Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland?

Tri-C JazzFest Lineup Announced | Newsradio WTAM 1100

Banda Magda Cleveland, OH - Cuyahoga Community College has announced an eclectic lineup of artists performing at the 42nd annual Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, presented by KeyBank. The two-day outdoor festival features 10 acts in Cain Park’s covered Evans Amphitheater, with a lineup that celebrates both the roots of jazz and the forward-thinkers in the genre today. “We wanted to celebrate the fact that we all made it through a difficult year by presenting a fun and diverse lineup,” said Terri Pontremoli, festival director. “I guarantee the audience will be really excited by the performances and will remember them for a very long time.”

Mother says Dalton, police failed to protect daughter who died in 2019 suicide

DALTON— Rather than hurry to the scene of a reported domestic dispute, a Dalton cop tried to protect a fellow officer’s reputation, a newly filed lawsuit claims, then engaged in a cover-up of actions taken, or not taken, on the night a young woman was found dead. Patricia Hayes, of Pittsfield, the mother of that woman, filed a federal civil rights lawsuit May 7 in U.S. District Court in Springfield that seeks $3,775,000 in damages. If police had gone to the woman’s apartment, as police policy dictates in domestic incidents, they might have saved Sherilyn Hayes’ life, the suit claims.
