What is the Pele Cup in Fortnite?
Epic has paid tribute to legendary Brazil icon Pele for a new player-themed emote and tournament.
The Pele Cup is a Fortnite Limited Time Mode (LTM) taking place on January 20. Who better to kick off a global football program than one of the greatest players to ever live? said Nate Nanzer, head of global partnerships at Epic Games. We re super excited to be able to bring Pele s famous air punch celebration into the game. We also have a really exciting tournament that we re going to be running where any Fortnite player will be able to sign up and compete to try to win both outfits and the Pele emote early, prior to launch, for free.
Fortnite Season 5 competitive events detailed: FNCS, LTMs, and bragging rights
Epic has published its plans for
Fortnite competitive in 2021 starting with its current fifth season of the game’s second chapter. The company has a bunch of tournaments in the pipeline, including ones offering cash and others offering bragging rights. Players can expect regular competitive events throughout the season, with most of them taking place on Mondays and Fridays.
Kicking things off will be
Fortnite Friday Nite Bragging Rights tournaments scheduled to kick off on January 8 and continuing on ‘most’ Fridays for the rest of season five. As the name suggests, these tournaments are exclusively for bragging rights specifically, winners from each event will get special shoutouts on the

Among Us. As you may anticipate, the matches involve unwitting players who are infiltrated by two unknown spies masquerading as teammates ones tasked with killing as many people as they can without getting caught.
Among Us, of course, is the game that spiked in popularity earlier this year, one involving crewmates who complete tasks while attempting to avoid one or more imposters aliens disguised as crewmates that go around killing people. The players must eliminate the people they think are imposters, potentially getting it wrong and dooming themselves.
