There are three new restaurants in the D.C. area. Doro Soul Food will open Nov. 17 in D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood at 1819 7th Street, N.W. Timber Pizza Co. has opened an outpost at Reagan National Airport. Chicago-based Aloha Poke Co. will open its first location in Maryland, with a franchise in Gaithersburg.
Michelin has released its highly-anticipated 2022 stars for DC restaurants. Four places have been added to the exclusive list and three big names have been removed bringing the total number of Michelin-starred DC dining rooms to 24. All of the new additions are one-star winners.
