SULPHUR SPRINGS On Tuesday evening, county commissioners Tim Ley, Larry Schmidt, and Doug Weisenauer met with the Liberty Township trustees.
At the meeting, the county commissioners presented the trustees with their plans to take city water from Stetzer at Beechgrove all the way to 602, then 330 that would fall partly under their jurisdiction.
In an effort to bring water to the citizens of Sulphur, the trustees proposed that the commissioners use some of the money they received from the ARP (American Rescue Plan of 2021) to tie into the Northern Ohio Rural Waterline at the intersection of Ridgeton Annapolis Road and Henry Cooper Road and bring water south into Sulphur.

NEW WASHINGTON - The wind was not cooperating.
As representatives from Apex Clean Energy, Inc., tried to set up displays and a video screen in preparation for a public meeting about the Honey Creek Wind Farm projecton Wednesday evening in the picnic shelter behind the New Washington American Legion Hall, the wind kept blowing everything over.
Their problem was met with more laughter than frustration. Don t you hate it when it s too windy to talk about wind? asked Ben Yazman, development manager, laughing.
The breeze had died down by the time 14 members of the public, county commissioners Tim Ley and Mike Schmid,t and one police officer gathered to listen to Yazman s presentation on the project.

CHICAGO When snow blankets the landscape during harsh winter months, Eduardo Vea Keating sees a silver lining. You have to see the bright side, said Keating, a creative director in advertising and resident of Chicago s Logan Square neighborhood. It s a beautiful time of the year.
Keating has gained notoriety in recent years for unique murals created entirely from snow. Calling them snow graffiti, his artwork on brick walls around the Windy City range from geometric patterns to short words and more recently, totems. I think they re kind of my personal gods of snow, praying for more snow to come down, he said.
