TikTok's Return-to-Office has a tracker called MyRTO and its employees are revolting. Employees are now raising their concerns against TikTok's MyRTO app, and this is a tracker for the workers' attendance on the required days that they report to the office.
TikTok is cracking down on remote work with an app to track in-office attendance. The MyRTO app will track employees badge swipes to see how often they work from office.
TikTok requires many of its roughly 7,000 U.S. employees to work in offices three times a week beginning in October. Some teams are expected in five days a week. Employees were told that "any deliberate and consistent disregard may result in disciplinary action" and could "impact on performance reviews."
